Au Revoir To April

Well that's the end of another month and do you know what I have to say good riddance. Maybe it was down to the hideous weather but April to be honest was a bit of a shocker, I've never felt well, I've felt totally and utterly miserable and everything that could go wrong probably has. Onwards and upwards as they say though and fingers crossed May will be better, I have a hospital appointment which I'm dreading, but May brings lots of family events including my birthday which I really am looking forward to -age after all is just a number xx

Despite the negativity, I feel that I've managed to get back in the blogging thing again in April, lighting conditions have been a bit prohibitive but I'm tackling some of my long promised posts which will hopefully continue into May.

April also saw the long awaited start of Project 10 Pan Round, I have to say I'm raring to go and excited for the challenge, I already looking forward to rediscovering forgotten and neglected products :) I haven't managed to finish anything yet but I have managed to finish a few products in April's Trimming My Stash challenge x

  • Wet Ones Be Cute 12 Antibacterial Wipes
  • Dove Go Fresh Anti Perspirant Deodorant 250ml
  • Eyeko Glitter Shower Gel 250ml
  • Boots Essentials Fragrance Free Cleansing Wipes x 25 Wipes
  • Aldi Lacura 3 in 1 Facial Cleansing Wipes For Normal Skin x 20 Wipes
  • The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Bath and Shower Gel 250ml
  • Total - 6 Items

OK it wasn't a great month by any stretch of the imagination, but 6 items isn't bad and it did included probably one of the oldest products in my collection, an Eyeko Shower Gel - OMG that was from the very, very early days of Eyeko when they were just available online, how that brand has changed, and not for the better imo. Still I'm hoping to to a little bit better in May and maybe there will be a few make up items in next month's list :)

I have to be honest and say that this months Monthly Spends was yet another out and out fail, I should have guessed that it would turn out that way especially with my York trip at the start of the month and my Project 10 Pan last hurrah...

  • Boots Essentials - £7.99
  • Superdrug Haul - £38.33
  • Cat Detail Top - G21 at Asda - £8.00
  • Goldtone Bow Ring - Ebay - £2.78
  • Look Beauty Haul - £15.95
  • Superdrug Goodies - £19.99
  • Body Shop Goodies - £11.20
  • Total So Far - £104.24
  • £64.24 Over

Other than what I've said I can't really justify that - I have made quite a bit back through blog sales and ebays this month but no, there isn't really any excuse for that. Despite a couple of shopping trips planned due to said birthday May will definitely be a better month, over half my purchases in April were make up related and obviously that's something that I can't buy in May. I hoping Project 10 Pan will make a big difference to my spending but we'll have to wait and see x

So that was my April, as for May well things can only get better as they say. Come on lets look at the positives leave me a comment and let me know what your looking forward to in May xx

  1. It's been a horrible month hasn't it. There were times when I thought the rain would never end! Well done on finishing 6 items and organising blogsales and ebay listings. Project bathroom has been a bit of a fail for me, and I've only finished one or 2 items this month. Fingers crossed next month will be more successful for us both x
