Well it's over the shortest month of the year is thankfully at its end although that didn't stop my placing an order on the last day of the month at cosmetics-skincare thanks Nooberella ;) (a review of my shopping experience and haul posts to come) - Phew my spending diet as you can see this month has been a total an utter failure - I stopped counting at £96.52 - argh! I think that once I knew I had gone over my limit by even just a little bit that was it - I felt as if I had a justification to spend more - I am feeling beyond bad about it but I can't change what happened - all I can do is try to do better next month - As you know my mum is going into hospital for an operation on 6th March - eek I know I am going to be stressed so I am going to have to be super strong and try not to spend any money - I want a few bits next month so I am going to have to just stick to those - as per usual MAC are releasing about a billion collections next month but my mum has already said she will buy me something to cheer me up while she is away - guess what I want like I acutally need more MAC ;) I am so amazed by her everyday she is so generous and is an amazing person I really would be lost without her
Well trimming my stash I have done pretty well this month although with it being a shorter month my total is a bit lower - but I still managed 16 items
Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream 30ml
Clinique Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliator 200ml
2true Instant Length Mascara - 1 Black - 7ml
The Body Shop Cranberry Bubble Bath 400ml
Nivea Deodorant - Pearl Beauty 35ml
Maybelline Watershine Diamonds Lipstick 103 Beige Shimmer
Boots Botanics Quick Fix Cleansing Wipes
Lush Cupcake Face Mask 75g
Liz Earle Cleanse + Polish 100ml
The Body Shop Divide and Multiply Mascara 5ml
Tommy Guns Blueberry and Ginseng Shampoo 250ml
AVON Brazil Beat Body Mist 100ml
Lush Dream Cream 100g
Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Night Cream 15ml
L'Oreal Elvive Smooth Silk Light Conditioning Smooth Spray 200ml
Liz Earle Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash 200ml
I think I did pretty well here I finished 3 make up products including two old mascaras although admittedly the lipstick was thrown away because it had gone off - yuck -yuck - I already have a few bits I know I'll finish next month so I am thinking positively that I will do better on all fronts next month - I sound like I'm repeating myself again but wish me luck - again xx

Boots, Sainsburys and QVC Purchases
As I said yesterday I think it was, I had placed a few more orders before the mass spending diet fail of February is over, and they came :)
First of all was the Boots order - I noticed the other day because of some lovely ladies on twitter that the new Revlon Photo Ready Foundation had launched on the Boots website :) I ordered the colour 003 Shell and it seems a pretty good match for my skin
Now obviously because it was new the Boots site had a special offer where you got a free Revlon Matte Eyeshadow free with any Photo Ready purchase - the colour they sent me was 001 Vintage Lace - a lovely matte neutral cream / ivory
Surprisingly enough the current Boots 3 for 2 offer on Revlon was still valid so being me I thought why not and picked up another 2 bits - First of all I picked up a Revlon Matte Powder Blush in 001 Rose Rapture a gorgeous peach based pink and I love the compact with a little pop out mirror lol
I also picked up another foundation - yes that's 4 in one week - faints - this time I got the Revlon Color Stay Mineral Mousse - I got the shade 030 light
I will definitely do a review of these foundations for you in the weeks and so on to come but overall I was pretty pleased with that since I only paid for the two foundations and I got a free eyeshadow and blusher :)
I also picked up another bargain in Sainsbury's the much talked about Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-on - I have wanted this for ages (more so since I noticed my horrible dark circles in a recent FOTD) and all their Garnier skincare was half price -I swatched the one with concealer but this one felt much more effective and a lot more cooling, and I could use it on non make up days so I picked it up x
Another package also came this morning that I forgot to tell you about - whoops - As you know I love QVC and especially their beauty shows - the Todays Special Value the other day was a kit by Mally Beauty - I must admit I had watched this show before - the MA Mally Roncal is hilarious, but I had never made a purchase until now - the kit was on 3 easy payments which is always a huge influence on whether or not to purchase - despite only ordering it on Wednesday it came this morning and so far so good. The kit came packaged in a pink snakeskin esq cosmetics bag
It contains a High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Blossom, a Black Volumising Mascara, an Eye Perfection Smoothing Eyeshadow in Twilight, a double ended brush, an Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Liner in Black Velvet, a Couture Colour Custom Blush in Bloom, and the Cancellation Concealer System with setting powder and concealer in Light / Medium
I've only tried a couple of bits (the blush and eye pencil) but so far the eye pencil has really stood out it's so soft like the Urban Decay pencils and it seems really hard wearing - I will definitely be doing a review of these products for you too
So there you have another haul - just my ASOS to go and February's failure can be consigned to history x

Dorothy Perkins Shopping Spree
OK as I said a few posts ago I've majorly screwed up my spending diet for February - thank goodness its nearly over lol Well as I said I'd placed a Dorothy Perkins order last weekend when there was a free p&p offer - well it's came and scarily it's all gorgeous and it's all getting kept - whoops a daisy !
Anyway as with my other purchases this month I ordered a few basics - more jeggings, and more white t-shirts but I also ordered some more interesting purchases :)
First of all socks - I actually needed some new short socks and there was a 3 pairs for £5 -I order these little cuties I especially love the NYC taxi cabs
I also ordered a couple of t-shirt style tops - first of all this one with a heart shaped perfume bottle design
and also this one with slightly puffed sleeves and a rose print around the neckline
I also got a couple of jewellery pieces including this gorgeous Italian style glass ring
and this lovely chunky faux pearl necklace
I have two more haul posts to do from February's spends, one from Boots / Sainsbury and one from ASOS then were back to square one and hopefully back on track in March

Clothing and Accessories Haulage
OK as I've said several times over the past few days my spending diet really has gone belly up this month so much so I am just not counting anymore I am too embarrassed- argh! I placed a few orders over the last week or so and they have started to come
First of all never a one to turn a good offer I placed a couple of La Redoute orders - from the first one which was 20% off and buy now pay August (these bits will be added to my August spending diet) I predominantly got a few basics - some long and short sleeved t-shirts, and vests which to be honest aren't that interesting to show you - I think when you have seen one white t-shirt you have probably seen them all lol so I think I'll show you two of the most interesting bits - this super slouchy navy and white striped t-shirt :)
I love this it's super slouchy, a bit more so than I imagined so I might maybe wear an indigo vest underneath - we'll see - I do love it though :) and shock of horrors I also got a pair of shoes - my first ones of the year
Aren't they pretty - a gorgeous tan summer sandal with a gorgeous turquoise effect stone detail - I own a few pairs of sandals like this already and they always look gorgeous in the summer with crops, shorts or skirts
The day after I placed that La Redoute what do you know I received another mailing through the post offering me 50% off my favourite item - faint - half price!! I am afraid I had to given into it - I ordered something I had been looking at repeatedly since I got the catalogue - the initial price of £80 ish scared me to be honest but at 50% off I thought it was worth a shot (whilst secretly hoping I hated it ;P )The thing is irl I don't hate it I love it - the colour isn't so good hear but it's a lovely navy blue and the leather is lovely quality (I don't own a blue leather bag) -it's a bit bigger than I thought it was but it's a great bag and will last for years - all for half price x :D
In the order for my Alice palette I also ordered a couple of bits from Debenhams - I got 2 tops from the H! By Henry Holland one of Debenhams new designer lines. First of all I got this short sleeved long line t-shirt
and I also got this crystal detail Pink Lipstick t-shirt :) (both pics taken from Debenhams)
I am really pleased with both of these items the cotton on the white top in particular is super quality and sooo soft :)
As I said earlier in the week I had a bit of a weight crisis which lead to my mum being kind enough to buy me some new things - they aren't that exciting to be honest so I won't included any pictures but they are real essentials, just a few pairs of jeans, some jeggings, some black trousers, some leggings, and some jog pants - she did buy me one luxury item though
this super cute Disney Alice In Wonderland t-shirt so cute - I am truly obsessed now lol
Oh and I also placed a Littlewoods order that came this week too - whoops - I am sure there was a discount somewhere in this lot too :)
First of all this cardigan - I love the bow detail :) It's a bit shorter than I would have liked but it will be cute for summer :)
and I also got this slubby, slouchy sequin detail t-shirt - I love the slubby fabric its so cool for summer :)
So there you have clothing goodies part 1 lol I have some Dorothy Perkins and 1 little thing coming from ASOS too which I'll update as and when - any questions please give me a yell xx

Debenhams Extras
In all my excitement yesterday I forgot to post about the rest of the goodies I got with my Debenhams Alice palette - whoops - As well as the palette I purchased a bottle of Mavala Scientifique nail strengthener - I still have some OPI Nail Envy to use and some other things but I have heard good things about this so I thought I'd get a bottle to try out if everything else I'm using fails - I'm about half way through operation nail growth for this month and I have to say I'm so, so - I have actually broke two nails on my left hand - one right the way down so it really hurts - but I am trying to keep up with all the cuticle work and so on so you never know - I'll report back around March 7th.
As well as the two things I purchased Debenhams were also kind enough to enclose some free samples - the most exciting one was a 10 day supply of id Bare Minerals Foundation in Medium Beige which happens to be my summer shade, and the cutest although not necessarily the most useful baby kabuki brush :) I also got some Gucci Flora perfume samples and about 8 DKNY Pure sample sheets which are currently adorning my radiators and giving off a lovely smell x

Urban Decay Alice In Wonderland Palette - Pic Heavy
It seems as though I spent half of today looking out of the window for Mr. Postman to come - when he eventually did I wasn't to be disappointed - 1 of 3 parcels that came was from Debenhams - what was it ? My Urban Decay Alice In Wonderland Book Of Shadows of course - I was one of the lucky online customers on Saturday who managed to grab one of these palettes before they disappeared and reappeared, and disappeared and reappeared - you get the idea - anyway if you aren't bored of it by now here are some pics :)
I love the way it really does look like a book :)
Close up of shadow colours
In a word gorgeous - almost to pretty to use but there are some lovely colours there and I can't wait to have a play x

Yummy Soup
Well the snow is back up north today and it freezing so I decided to make some nice warming soup for dinner - the recipe I used is for Butternut Squash and Red Pepper soup and I got it from the lovely Kelanjo19's new blog - Not Just Another Diet - please check it out if you haven't already :) I followed her recipe using vegetable stock, and I also added a clove of garlic and some chilli flakes for an extra kick. It was yummy, a real winter warmer and soooo easy to make - a huge thumbs up from me and my mum - Thanks Kelly x

Superdrug Shopping
So much for my spending diet lol I've came to the conclusion rightly or wrongly that since I've blown my spending diet for this month I may as well make the most of it and shop some more. Anyway I managed a quick trip to Superdrug this week and I bought a few bits. Most of this stuff seemed to be pretty new in store so I will definitely do some reviews in the weeks to come once I have had a proper play :)
First in my basket was a foundation - two foundations in the one week - eek - this must be pretty new because the assistant was just putting them out - it's L'Oreal Matte Morphose Souffle Foundation in 110 Rosy Ivory - this feels amazing a bit like the Maybelline Dreamy Creamy / Dream Matte Mousse but dare I say it nicer - it claims a 12 hour luminous finish which minimises pores and wrinkles - bring it on is what I say :)
I also picked up this which had £2 off in Superdrug - the new Maybelline Falsies Mascara in Black - I normally really like Maybelline mascara so I definitely want to give this a try
Then I got some GOSH products - they were on buy 2 and get a free Light N Shine lipgloss - bargain :) I picked up yet another mascara, this time GOSH's new one Irresistible Intensity Mascara - the want looks really interesting and I've heard good things so again I can't wait to try this :) I also picked up a GOSH Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick in Love That Brown - these are total dupes for MAC Shadesticks and are great for a super quick eye look. So I qualified for a free lipgloss so I picked no 3 which is a lovely light, shimmery pink :)
I also had a little look at the true Spirit jewellery stand and got these gorgeous red rose earrings for only £1.99
I also got some other random stuff including some hair remover cream (fascinating eh), Hairflair magazine and a Galaxy Bubbles bar - good they are good Galaxys version of a Wispa - oh and something I learned today when you get your receipt in Superdrug you get a little receipt to fill in a survey online - do it!!- I did mine from the other day and you get a code to use in store against your next purchase of £10 or over for 25% off Superdrug own brand goods and 10% off other branded goods - fabulous - that and in store savings saved me over £10 today - result :)

Boots Goodies or Louise Falls Victim To Some Serious Enabling
I have to say the several Blogs and You Tube channels have played a major role in influencing this post. A few ladies have bought things, and raved about them so much I have became convinced that I've actually needed them LOL So I visited a little Boots store and received an online order - weak as I am indeed. Anyway the first must have product was the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - I got shade No 52 Vanille / Vanilla and so far so good I've only tried it but it seems a nice foundation and I love the smell.I also picked up the matching Healthy Mix Radiance Anti Fatigue Concealer also in No 52 Medium Radiance
The next must have product was something I couldn't find near me so I ordered it online - I probably have about 10 other things that are similar but it gives such a lovely effect - It's the Limited Edition No7 Natural Radiance Highlighter and I have to say despite a lot of criticism of the packaging - I love it especially the lovely turquoise marble effect colour :)
I also picked up the No7 Eyeshadow Blend and Contour Brush which is much talked about and seems really good too
I also picked up a couple of other bits from No7 some cleansing sponges, and some moisture gloves to aid operation nail growth
both of these purchase meant I had spent over £22 on No7 so I got a free oriental roll style make up bag with some No7 minis in - I love a freebie :)
