I wish I'd never used this post title now I am craving chocolate like you wouldn't believe, but never mind. all in all I'm pretty glad this week is nearly over. It started with a bit of a disaster, a leaky shower, and an inept plumber lead to water dripping through the dinning room ceiling. Thankfully no real damage was done but we were without water for nearly 2 days!!! Then came a dentist appointment and then a medical appointment, more medication and a pile of blood tests, and more investigation needed - fabulous! when will it end! `
Anyway today started pretty iffily we were going to go to the Metro Centre but I felt so lousy we decided to go next week instead. Thankfully I felt a little bit better this afternoon so we decided to pop to a nearby town, to get the rest of my godmothers birthday pressie. The make up was on 3 for 2 in Superdrug so my mum got my godmother something, and she got me the other 2 items. If your in Superdrug definitely check out the GOSH counter, they had a whole basket of items which were half price. I've shown the colour green a lot of love in my recent nail polish posts so I couldn't pass this colour by - it's 567 Metallic Green
I also got this nail polish I saw it when I was in my local chemist the other day and I thought it looked fab
It's the Rimmel Lasting Finish in 500 Disco Ball - it's basically sheer with lots of multi coloured glitter - If you like colours like this stay tuned to my bit of web space, I'm planning a changing your nail polish post using lots of shades like this one :) I've done some swatches on white paper so you can have a better look :)
So that was all I got apart from some ebay packaging, but I did get a little something in the post
One of the lovely Sinead's new wooden scrabble tile necklaces, I think these are an absolute bargain and I am definitely going to pick up a few as Christmas pressies - Here is a rather demented looking picture of me wearing it :)
Sweet isn't it - I have quite a busy weekend ahead of me, I am going to my Godmother's birthday party tomorrow, so I will try and get some pictures up maybe an OOTN?, and then it's free listings weekend on ebay so you can expect to see lots more ebay listings over the next day or so, Oh and I have a review to go up tomorrow too - phew Any questions on anything please leave me a comment I love reading them oh and Hevanne please get in touch to claim your giveaway prize x thanks all xx

Nails Of The Day - Strange Photos and Sparkles
Hey my loves it's time to show you another gorgeous colour from my extensive nail polish collection, and after lots of positive feedback it another sparkly one. I bought this colour from US ebay, a little while ago (you can see the haul post here ) and I have to say it's love
Color Club 850 Worth The Risque is probably as close as you can get to the famous GOSH Holographic, it's a gorgeous silver, with multi coloured holographic flashes - love it even on my shorter nails after multiple snappages at the weekend :)
This is two coats and I have to say I find it much easier to apply than the GOSH one, it lasts pretty well too x
Whilst I was taking these pics of my nails, this strange pic turned up on my memory card I'm sure I didn't take it either!
Weird or what? have you ever found anything strange on your memory card? and what do you think of this polish?

Nails Of The Day - GOSH Holographic
I said I couldn't wait to get this on my nails so last night I gave it a go. I have to say I did have a few application issues but I have to see the final effect far outweighs a few initial streaking problems. I have to say this is nothing like any holograph polish I've tried previously - the effect is truly magical - I love x

With Thanks To Anna x
A few posts ago I mentioned that I really wanted the famous GOSH 549 Holographic Nail Polish, alas I'm not able to get to Superdrug at the moment because of you've guessed it the stupid foot, and added to that the fact that it has now been discontinued and is proving hard to find I thought my lust would go unsatisfied. Salvation however came in the form of the lovely Anna
She had bought one already and kindly offered to go back and get one for me - It doesn't look that spectacular in the bottle but despite the iffy opinions regarding the application - in all the pics I've seen it looks amazing - I can't wait to sort out a good base coat and give it ago, Thanks Anna xx

A Nails Of The Day Post :)
Well I haven't posted one of these for ages but after a disastrous spell of snapping and peeling whilst I was in hospital, a few weeks on my Leighton Denny system (which I promise I will review soon for you) and I have nails again. What better way to celebrate than with one of my favourite polishes Milani 3D Holograpic in 509 HD. I know you've all seen this before but I love Milani 3D polishes and holographic polishes in general. I really want GOSH Holographic but I can't seem to find it so in the meantime I give you this x
The photos don't do it justice at all but its a really pretty glittery, holographic silver - love, love, love. Next up another nail post - a sneaky January purchase xx

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation Review and A Face of Yesterday
A few months I picked up Rimmels new Match Perfection Foundation during a Tesco shop.I chose the shade 100 Ivory. This foundation contains Rimmels exclusive "Smart-Tone" technology containing Blue Sapphire which allows it to adapt to an individuals skin tone and texture. It also contains an "Oxygen complex" which allows the skin to breathe.

The foundation comes in a glass pump action dispenser - which immediately gets a thumbs up from me - pump action dispensers are much easier to use and are a lot more hygienic. It has a thick lotion type texture

but it blends easily onto the skin both on top of bare skin, moisturiser and primer, I tried a few different methods of application and I have to say I found a sponge the easiest way to work with it. I found it gave a good medium coverage as you can see here - in my before picture you can see blemishes and redness

and afterwards even with no concealer the skin looks much clearer

I have to say I really like this foundation, it feels light on the skin and the coverage is good. It also seems to last quite well - I've removed it after at least 8hours and there has still been foundation on my skin. I also love the smell of this foundation it has a lovely fruity, fresh scent that I really enjoyed, and it had the added bonus of containing an SPF 15 - great for all year round protection. Would I buy this again - yes thankfully I don't need to because I won another bottle in an online competition ;) but I definitely would it has gone into my top 5 foundations list easily - it suits my skin well, and I love the natural polished look it leaves.
I purchased this foundation myself and this is just my opinion but if you want to try it you can get it from all Rimmel outlets for around £8.99 which certainly doesn't break the bank.
Since I took my foundation pics for you yesterday I thought I may as well show you the FOTD from my shopping / cinema trip with my bestie last night

Superdrug and Aldi Bits + NOTD
I popped out for a couple of hours with my mum yesterday to get the rest of my besties birthday pressie and as per usual I picked up a few bits for me :)
Firstly Superdrug :) why or why do I buy something every time I go in - everything seems to shout buy me lol. Well I was pretty restrained and only picked up three bits. First of all I noticed that all the True Spirit jewellery was half price so I bought these pretty earring for only 99p (slightly less than half price actually they were originally £1.99 - strange) yes they are bows again - wire bows on a little chain with a crystal at the top

I also spotted the new Scarlett & Crimson range by Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall so I decided to try something - I went for the creme eyeshadow trio in The Natural Trio - this is really unusual packaging design the eyeshadows are all packaged separately but they stack together so presumably if you have all the trios
(I spotted at least another 3)you can stack them all together.

I've just included a few pics here but I will be doing a full review of these shadows and the packaging soon for you so keep checking back x
I also picked up a nail polish by GOSH 546 Rainbow - this is gorgeous and so sparkly with multi coloured glitter in it which can look like gold leaf, green, pink you name it :)

I've included a few pics of it painted over the top of Eyeko Tea Rose but the pics really don't do it justice - it's gorgeous and look amazing over most colours :)

We also popped to Aldi which was a bit of a sad experience - a few months ago I did a review of their Lacura Balancing Day Cream (click here to see it) - alas it seems to be no more :( there was no space for it on the shelves and it's no longer on the Aldi site - sniff - if anyone sees one please, please pick one up for me - it was my favourite "cheap" moisturiser :( Never mind I still picked a few bits up from the Lacura range including a pack of the 3 in 1 Facial Cleansing Wipes - these two have changed packaging and you now get more in the pack but thankfully they seem the same

I also picked one of the eyeshadow duos after a recommendation from the lovely Lauren - I went for 202 Olive - again I've just added a few pics here I will definitely be reviewing this too for you alongside my long promised Lacura lipgloss review x

I hope you enjoyed yet another haul from me ;) As I say I'll definitely be reviewing some of these items in more detail for you so don't forget to keep checking back Oh and a huge thank you and hello to my new followers xx
