A Cautionary Tale

I really hate to be so negative about a company but to be honest my goat has got.Against my better judgement on 3rd March I asked well begged Mummy LouLou to order me a few things from H&M online. No it's not against my better judgement to ask my mum to buy me things, don't be daft :) It was against my better judgement to place an order with H&M online. Since the site launched I have to say I am yet to find anyone who has had a positive experience with them , but I wasn't to be deterred I was still in a cast so I couldn't get to a store
I waited a few weeks and still no parcel despite the email invoice saying at least one of the items would be dispatched the same week - so I emailed them - I have to say I received a response pretty much straight away where I was told that my items wouldn't now be dispatched tll the end of April !!!! as they were currently both out of stock. OK can someone tell me why and how they can feasibly accept your order when the items aren't in stock - what's more galling is that when I managed to get to H&M they actually had one of the items in stock so I ended up buying it in another colour - nude (see the post / video here) surely they could just go into a store and pick it up?
Well on Saturday (9th April) my H&M parcel turned up over 5 weeks after I initially placed the order thankfully I'm pleased with what I ordered but I am certainly not happy and I certainly won't be ordering from them again if they take that long to deliver - Mummy Lou Lou paid via Debit Card which was taken on the day of the order so where was her money for 5 weeks? :( and before you ask I've asked around and my experience isn't a one off some people have waited up to 8 weeks for delivery - it really isn't good enough for a major high street store.
Anyways rant over on to what I got first up the top that I purchased in store in nude, I ordered it in a bright electric blue shade

I love this t-shirt and the little bows around the neckline are so cute :)

I also got this, now this was ordered as a dress but it's pretty obvious that it would be a pretty short one on me, so I am going to use it over leggings or jeggings as a long line vest

Again I love the cute flower detail around the neckline and shoulders :)

So there you go I am happy with my purchases but I won't be purchasing from H&M online again - I want my parcels asap and 5 weeks was just too long to wait. Any questions please ask x

Goods and Bads

I haven't done one of these for a week or so, so I thought I'd do a catch up x

Bads

* I have had a really rough couple of weeks ME wise I've been so tired, I've had horrible spells of insomnia and I just haven't felt that great - I am also so fed up of being stuck in the house at the the moment :( I went to see my ME /CFS therapist a couple of weeks ago which was the first proper time I had been out of the house and on public transport on my own for ages and it made me feel "normal" - a feeling I totally lack at the moment :(

* My weight I have officially porked again putting on the weight I've lost and some more besides - looking at myself in the mirror lately isn't great - I have restarted my healthy eating plan (I am so over diets I need to change my attitude to food permanently - I diet but the weight always goes back on :() this week and I am going to try and do a little bit of exercise everyday even if it's just a 5 minute walk each day or a few minutes Wii bowling

* Royal Mail - I am waiting for a few parcels that I have just about given up on - they can deliver tiny things but anything bigger just isn't getting through at the moment :(

* My skin argh - it's gone from dry and flaky to hormonal breakout central - I'm using something which is helping a bit but I really want to be able to go out in public without make up for a change :(


Goods

* My mum is doing really well after her operation - she is recovering well, is in less pain, and has much increased mobility - she even managed a little walk last week :)

* My lovely mum has offered to give me some money to go to the Metro Centre this week to get me out of the house and to buy me some bits to cheer me up and some bits to go towards my birthday present (she won't be able to drive or go anywhere for at least another month )I am really hoping I am well enough to go I am aiming to go on Thursday so I am going to get as much rest as I can over the next couple of days :)

* Rediscovering make up - I have been doing a huge sort out of my make up over the last week or so and I have discovered so many lovely things that I haven't shown enough love to - it's like getting new things :)

* Trimming my stash - so far this month I am doing really well I am really making headway into my stash of half and 3/4 used products (this is why I manage to finish so much stuff I have so much half and 3/4 used products - I open something use it for so long then move on to something else lol)

* Nail Varnish - you may have noticed an increase in my NOTD posts well I have rediscovered nail varnish in a big way - due to operation nail growth my nails are actually growing and I have something to paint again - I am having great fun digging out colours from my collection - I think I am slowly going to work my way through everything I've got lol

Don't You Just Hate It When+ Today!

I have had one of those today - I waited in all morning and nearly all afternoon for some parcels that never came - grr I hate that. I eventually managed to drag my ME ridden carcass to Tescos, the post office, and the bank. Admittedly I got the bus there and back but it was still effort that I could do without at the moment :( What happens when I get home - the ebay bidder that I have been waiting for a payment from for nearly a week pays - well she'll have to wait for her parcel now I am not going that way till Friday - grr. Oh and then my phone battery died when I was trying to take some photos of today's look - don't you just hate that - so you've just got a little pic of the make up I used today - enjoy
