A Little Home And Lifestyle Haul Featuring Tiger, Yankee Candles And More

Hi Guys x I hope you're all having a nice weekend x I've got a home haul for you today and it's a long overdue one. I've had some of these bits for quite a while now but as you know sometimes life gets in the way. Some of these bits are for my bedroom, and some are for my home office, come craft room, some of the things that I've picked up are super practical and some of them are just for fun.

I'm going to start off with a few bits from a fun store, that's pretty new to me, Tiger. Hailing from Denmark, Tiger is one cool and quirky shop. It stocks pretty much everything from herbs and spices, to home wear and stationery. Since I've been going for monthly eyebrow waxes at the Benefit counter in Debenhams in Newcastle, I can't resist popping in and having a nose.

The first two things that I bought pretty much sum up the Tiger vibe, cute desk tidies that look like shopping baskets and shopping trolleys. I'd seen a few pictures of these online, and loving anything that's miniature I couldn't resist adding them to my all be it, much larger basket. Since they're made of metal, they're pretty sturdy and the plastic coated section come in a variety of different colours. I think the baskets are around £4, and something makes me think that the trolley was a little bit cheaper. I think they make great funky looking storage pieces and if you have little people I'm sure that they would make pretty cool toys.

Something else that I picked up from Tiger was this pack of wooden log, fridge magnets. I know some people think that fridge magnets are a bit tacky but personally I love them, and whenever I go somewhere new on holiday I always pick up a magnet to remind me of my travels. These cute little wooden magnets that resemble tree rings though are now safely adhered to the magnetic notice board in my office, to keep my notes and my photographs safe. They were just £1 for a pack of 4.

I also picked up a pack of magnets from Poundland. I already have the brightly coloured letter magnets that you'll probably remember from your nursery and primary school days but these vintage typewriter style magnets probably appeal more to the adult in me. You can also get them in a ransom note style type, so you can leave yourself messages or make up rude words as you please x

Like a lot of bloggers out there I love my stationery, and I'm one of them, I love cute notepads, cute stickers and even cute writing sets. I know writing letters seems to be a bit of a dying art but I don't think there is anything nicer then receiving a hand written note or letter. I usually buy note cards but for a change I decided to buy a couple of cute writing sets instead. Both of these sets come from The Works, and they had loads of pretty ones to choose from but I loved the lip print and the almost Orla Kiely style stem and leaf print. They were just £1 a set, and each one contains 10 sheets of writing paper and 10 matching envelopes x

Next up something else that bloggers all seem to love, candles! I've loved candles for as long as I can remember, and I burn a scented candle pretty much everyday. Although I'm trying to branch out a little bit and try new things, Yankee Candles are still my brand of choice. I buy a lot of my candles in store but for pricing on Yankee Candles you really can't beat QVC UK's prices. A few months ago now (I said this haul was late!) they featured a Yankee Candle Today's Special Value, which on this occasion was a QVC exclusive 39 piece Warm Summer Nights Seasonal Hamper.

The set came in a sturdy canvas basket which featured a super cute tassel and pom pom bag charm. The basket featured two layers of candle products. The first layer contained 12 votive candles in some of Yankee's newest spring and summer scents,  it contained 2 x Passion Fruit Martini, 2 x Flowers In The Sun, 2 x Moonlight, 2 x Dreamy Summer Nights, 2 x My Serenity, and 2 x Sunset Breeze votives.

If that wasn't enough the second layer of the baskets contained two boxes of 12 tea lights in the Passion Fruit Martini and Flowers In The Sun Fragrances and 2 purple glass bucket holders to burn both your votives and tea lights in.

Unfortunately I can't remember exactly how much this kit was, but I do remember that the value was amazing and way less then RRP. Whilst the votives and the tea lights won't fragrance a huge space, I like to use them either on my bedside table, or the desk next to me while I'm writing, or crafting. They're perfect for a gentle, intimate fragrance and this kit gave me a fantastic opportunity to try out some new fragrances. I have to say I don't think there is a single fragrance in this kit that I dislike - my favourite is probably the super fruity Passionfruit Martini, but I can see myself burning all of these depending on the time of day and my mood. I also bought this kit on what QVC call their auto delivery programme, which basically means that I'm going to receive another 3 hampers, all in a different design, with new holders and new seasonal fragrances in fact I may have already got the Autumn hamper which I'll show you in an upcoming post :)

If you've been reading my blogger for a while now you'll know that this was the year when I was going to try and get organised. I really am trying but there is still so much more that I need to do and need to sort out, and the next few things that I've bought are hopefully going to help me do that, by improving some of my storage options.

This is a foldable, hexagonal storage ottoman which comes from QVC. I've seen a few similar things on the market but this is strongest and the best quality one that I've come across. Made of a faux leather it folds down flat, but when it's assembled it's super strong. It features a padded lid, which makes it a comfy seat, and you can even reverse the lid and use it as a tray. It's sturdy enough to stand on and it's surprisingly roomy. I'm using mine to store all of my electrical beauty bits such as my tongs and my straighteners. I also bought the wheeled section separately so I can move it round and use it around my room as a seat. QVC do a lot of these ottomans in different shapes and I would really recommend them if you need extra storage and occasional seating.

I love my jewellery but I have to be honest and say that I'm running out go places to store it. I have a large mirrored jewellery cabinet for my fine jewellery but my fashion jewellery storage is all over the place, I have some pieces in hat boxes, some in fabric dress style hangers on my doors, and I also have some jewellery hooks on the side of my wardrobe, and believe it or not i still need more jewellery storage. My mum actually got some of these a little while back for B&M and after trying hers I though that these would be perfect for hanging on my wardrobe frame. They are just £1 each and I'm currently using them for long necklaces but you can also use them for belts and scarves. I'm going to do a proper sort and then I think I might do a jewellery storage video to show you all of my jewellery and the different storage options that I use, if you'd be interested in seeing that, then let me know x

Next a few pieces from the storage mothership that is IKEA, if you need storage for just about anything then you need to take a trip to IKEA. I never ever leave empty handed and this visit was no exception, as well as picking up some dining room chairs for Mummy Lou I also picked up another set of Helmer drawers.

Annoyingly the new ones are much of a pure white than the cream ones I have but I'll have to live with that. I used my original Helmer for nail polish storage and to be honest it's starting to overflow so most of my new one will be filled with nail polish too, and if I have any space left, I'll be storing some other beauty items. These aren't the biggest drawers that IKEA do but you can fit them into quite a compact space, and the drawers actually hold quite a bit. I also love that they're on wheels so you can move them around for cleaning. I love them and i would recommend them to anyone whether you use them in the bedroom, the office, or even in the bathroom.

I'm in the process of sorting out my new office space, and whilst I'm moved in and blogging from my desk now, I'm still sorting out boxes of stuff and adding pretties. Apparently plants help you to concentrate and they help to keep you calm so I picked up a pack of 3 cacti plants. I used to have a cactus or two in my bedroom many moons ago and because they're so easy to care for, I thought that this set which was £4.50 would be perfect for my desk. I still fancy something bigger and more flowy and greener to go on the top of a set of storage drawers but given my uselessness with plants I'll need to consult Mummy Lou aka Mrs Greenfingers before I buy anything else.

The final few things that I want to show you are from eBay x According to my mam I'm slightly obsessed with cushions, and yes I'll admit it I do have quite a few in the two rooms that I consider my own, but I love my comfort and I think cushions can make a bed look more dressed and inviting in an instant. This time I didn't buy a cushion as such but these two cushion covers that I got work perfectly with the lilacs and pastels in my rooms.

Come on which beauty lover wouldn't love these cushions? The fabric isn't the best but I love the Chanel fragrance print and of course the NARS lipstick print. These two cushions came from overseas sellers, the perfume cushion was just £2.39 from this seller and the lipstick cushion cover was £2.58 from this seller. A couple of different sellers do these covers at varying price points though so it's worth shopping around x

The final thing I've got to show you in this haul also came from eBay, and it's a mug. A few bloggers I know have this mug already and I believe they got if from Truffle Shuffle, I found this one on eBay though and I love the fact that you can get it personalised with the name of your choice.

Unfortunately the seller that I bought mine from doesn't seem to sell these anymore but this seller does and they have loads of different Little Miss and Mr Men themed mugs, including some of the new adult themed mugs all of which can be personalised. I'm quite fancying a Little Miss Social Media mug next ;).

So that was my long awaited home and lifestyle haul x I've also made an accompanying You Tube video which you watch below or via this link.

I'd love to know what you think about my haul, and I'd love to know what home, lifestyle and stationery items you've bought recently so leave me a comment and let me know x I've already got another home and lifestyle haul planned so make sure you following my blog so you don't miss it x

Trimming My Stash December 2015 Edition - Empties And A 2015 Round Up

Happy New Year x I hope you all had a fabulous New Years Eve - My was quiet, TV, fizz and snacks and I was in bed before midnight, but I'm refreshed and ready to go, and ready to face another year head on.

Before that though I'm going to wrap up the last loose ends of 2015, by finishing up with December empties post x

Queen Cosmetics Eye Make Up Remover -50g
Rolanjona Shea Butter Smoothing And Whitening Hand Mask x 1 Pair
Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Gel Foundation - 100 Ivory - 18ml
Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray - 300ml
Mally Volumizing Mascara - Black - 10ml
Total - 5 Items

It wasn't an outstanding performance by any means but I managed to finish nice variety of products including a couple of make up items and a couple of products that I thought would never end !

1. Queen Cosmetics Eye Make Up Remover - 50g

Eeek - I've probably been using this product for way longer than I should have been according to the use by date but if it smells the same, and the texture hasn't changed then by my rules it's still good to go. I reviewed this on the blog quite a while ago now ( read my review here) and whilst I prefer a liquid eye make up remover, this one really does the business - it removes anything without causing any sensitivity or irritation. I can't guarantee I would personally repurchase but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.

2. Rolanjona Shea Butter Smoothing And Whitening Hand Mask x 1 Pair

This was an ebay purchase that I bought and never used. What it was, was basically a pair of thin fabric / paper gloves, infused and dripping wet with a moisturising Shea butter, based solution. Just just pop the gloves on for 15-20 minutes and the idea is that you end up with silky soft hands, and believe it or not you do. My one complaint is that the gloves really are soaking wet, there is no outer glove or plastic cover so you're pretty much incapacitated while you're wearing them - I put my hands on a towel, to stop the drips, and lay down and relaxed for about 20 minutes. My hands are really dry at the minute and this made an immediate visual difference and my hands felt silkier, I'm not sure whether they made a difference in the long term but for a special occasion at just £1 ish they are well worth it.

3. Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Gel Foundation - 100 Ivory - 18ml

I honestly thought I'd reviewed this but I've only reviewed the original liquid foundation. I've loved the original one for quite a while and even more so now they've introduced some pinker shades, this one was similar but it had a completely different texture. Instead of the liquid texture this one had a much creamier texture. It felt nice on the skin, and the coverage was good but it wasn't for oily skin so I could only use this on my drier days. As time progressed it did have a tendency to dry out and cake so I wasn't sorry to finish it. This has been discontinued now but I preferred the original anyway.

4. Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray - 300ml

I've lost count of how many bottles of this I've gone through. I use every time I straighten, blow dry or curl my hair and it's a lifesaver. Although I've been trying to lay off the heat in the last 12 months or so I still swear by this spray, it smells gorgeous and you really feel as though your protecting your hair.

5. Mally Volumizing Mascara - Black - 10ml

Although the Mally range is only available from QVC in the UK, this mascara has a cult following and I can see why. It adds length and volume, and it wears really well, in fact some reviewers refer to it as bulletproof. I retails at around £25 for 2 tubes so it isn't cheap and whilst I probably wouldn't purchase it on it's own I would happily buy it in Mally kits which would make it more economical x

So they were December's empties and since we're starting a new year, it's time to add all my monthly totals together and to see just how many beauty products I managed to finish in 2015

January - 4 Items
February - 6 Items
March - 4 Items
April - 10 Items
May - 4 Items
June - 6 Items
July - 9 Items
August - 6 Items
September - 6 Items
October - 10 Items
November - 8 Items
December - 5 Items
Total - 78 Items

Well I finished 78 items in total and whilst that' a lot of stuff when you think about it, I'm 6 items down on last years total so I'm a touch disappointed. Never mind onwards and upwards - I still have way more beauty products than one person needs so Trimming My Stash will be continuing in 2016 with a renewed vigour.

As well as trying to cut down on what I buy (after Christmas and the January sales obviously!) I'm going to be having a good sort through my products, and I'm going to work out what needs using first, and I'm going to sort out all of those half finished products that I'm sick of the sight of, and get them finished.

I'm also going to have a good sort of my make up stash - I don't know whether I'm going to go down the blog sale route but I definitely need to have a good sort and I'm seriously debating doing another Project 10 Pan in 2016 to help me both stop buying make and to help me use some of it up.

A new broom sweeps clean and since 2016 is going to be my year of organisation I'm going to start with beauty products. If you're doing something similar this year let me know, and link me up x

Lou On Ebay Shopping And A Small Haul

It's been a little while since I've posted a haul, well it hasn't really, but for me 3 weeks is a long time! I actually had 3 haul posts planned before Christmas but at the risk of sounding like a broken record again, life got in the way! - time management is definitely something I need to work on in 2016! It was mainly beauty so no doubt you'll see some of the items in due course but I've decided to just leave it, sweep the slate clean and start afresh with lots of new hauls in 2016.

That said, I am going to make a little exception and show you a few things that I've bought recently from ebay. I love ebay - even though I'm no longer an active seller, I can always find something to buy, and it's one of my go to places to find unusual, and hard to find gifts.

Normally my ebay festive shopping goes without a hitch, I order in plenty of time, the goods arrive and I'm happy, this year though has been a bit if a fail. Despite ordering in plenty of time I'm still waiting for 2 parcels, and 3 have already been declared missing and I've received refunds from the sellers. It's bad enough when your buyiing something for yourself, but when it;s for a gift it's doubly annoying!

Never mind I've still managed to get a few pressies from ebay this year that I know my recipents will love so it isn't all bad. I also bought myself a few things that I want to share with you x

Although I'm a little bit late this year, last night I made my bed and put on my festive bedding. I don't know when the trend for festive duvet sets started but it's definitely one that I embrace. My set is just a grey and white, Nordic feel, heart and snowflake design - it's not as in your face as some I've seen but I like it's more simplistic, feel and it goes nicely with my room.

I have a few tonal cushions already but I fancied a festive cushion to coordinate with my duvet set and this one fits the bill perfectly.

It's made of a slightly, rustic, textured feel fabric, and it features a navy blue, natural and grey deer (or elk) and butterfly design. Despite the deer I don't think that this cushion is that christmassy so I might be able to get away with it throughout the winter at least. I know that it probably isn't much use for this year but this cushion was just £2.77 including postage from this seller,

Sticking with the Christmas theme I also bought myself this silver tone, stretch, charm bracelet

I'm a huge fan of Dutch fashion jewellery brand, Bibi Bijoux but their items are pretty expensive for what they are. This British ebay seller mandymax1971 though, makes jewellery in a very similar style. I've saved a lot of her items to my wishlist but this bracelet was a must have for the festive season. It isn't so crazily festive that you couldn't wear it all year round but it has a definite Christmas feel and features an angel, a tinkling bell and several star charms. It was just £3.49 plus 99p for UK standard delivery from North East based seller mandymax1971. I definitely want at least one of her necklaces and some more of her bracelets - the charms and quality are very similar to Bibi Bijoux only at a tiny fraction of the price.

I know I've had quire a few new followers late and something that you'll learn is that I'm pretty obsessed with jewellery - I love the stuff, I love expensive pieces as much as the next person but I'm always on the look out for bargains and if your the same ebay is definitely the place to shop.

One of my favourite semi- precious gemstones has to be Tigers Eye, I love the warm brown, and honey tones, and love the individuality of each of stone. I have quite a few pieces in my collection already, ranging from delicate sterling silver pendants, to huge chunky, necklaces, and bracelets, but up until recently I didn't have any earrings. Although I love dangly bold earrings, on a day to day basis and normally just go for a small hoop or a stud, so these ones fit the bill perfectly.

Their just a small oval shaped, tigers eye stone set into a small silver plated stud. They were exactly what I'd been looking for and at just £1.99 with £1.75 postage from this seller in India, I think that they were pretty reasonable. I bought a couple of other things from the same seller from Mummy Lou and I have to say I was really impressed with both the quality, and the delivery times.

These earrings are quite understated and quite classic but the other pair that I picked up recently have a funkier, modern feel.

These fashion jewelley earrings have a retro, geometric style, that immediately appealed to my hipper side. Basically what they are is a twisted, gold tone circle with lies flat against the ear, and dangling from it is a series of gold tone rings, and 3 monochrome, rectangular charms. These earrings were just 99p including postage from this seller. They have a nice lightweight feel in the ears, and they have that nice tinkle when you move your ears - a little bit like sleigh bells ;)

My final purchase isn't home or jewellery related, it is in fact beauty related. I must say I am careful about what beauty products I buy on ebay as I've been duped in the past, but I do buy the occasional Asian beauty product and I sometimes buy designer inspired make up brushes.

When I first saw these toothbrush / paddle brush type make up brushes I have to admit like most of the beauty community, I was intrigued - were they just a gimmick? did they work? hmm, as intrigued as I was though I wasn't willing to spend MAC's prices. So like a lot of things I just forgot about it, until a month or so ago when I was looking for another brush brand dupe and I saw this one.

I haven't tried it yet and I'm not 100% sure what it's for but all I can say at the moment it that it feels super soft, and silky on the skin. I'm going to do a little bit of research before I give it a go, so if any of you have idea how to use it then please let me know x I paid just £1.10 including postage for it from this seller x

So that was my latest haul and probably my last proper haul of 2015. I can't help thinking of the things that didn't arrive but I'm pretty happy with my ebay purchases and the things that I've bought for others and I got my refunds so I can't really complain x Have you bought anything interesting from ebay lately? Leave me a comment and let me know, and if you've done a post or a video link me up xx

Small Clothing And Accessories Haul, And Lou On Personal Style

Hi Guys x I've had a few new followers lately so I'd just like to start off this post buying saying a big thank you x I really appreciate every single one of my followers and I really hope that you'll enjoy this little glimpse into my world x

A blog about a lot of things but if you like shopping and hauls, then this is the place to be x I love shopping and over the next few weeks I have several hauls coming for you including a high end beauty haul, a nail haul, and also a couple of more budget friendly beauty hauls but first of all I've got a little fashion and accessory haul to show you.

The first three items in this haul are all tops from QVC. I've spoken a little bit lately about my new found obsession with QVC's clothing and whilst some of you may sneer, I'm going to say it again, I'm a firm believer that you can find clothing gems anywhere. I'm never going to be the most fashionable or on trend person out there but I know what I like and I know what works for me, and something that's almost being a signature look for me is a bright, or a patterned top and a pair of jeggings, leggings or skinny jeans. It looks good, people remember me for it and if you pick the right items, you can feel comfortable and confident x

The first top comes from a Canadian company called Kim&Co. My mum is a fan of the brand and they're noted for their comfortable and easy care, stretchy dresses and separates. I actually already own a piece from the brand from many moons ago, a slinky ivory, cream dress covered in a pink, black and red ladybird print. I love it's quirkiness but since then I haven't seen much that I would personally buy - the range is generally a bit safe and bit too old fashioned for me but every now and then you do see something that makes you think again.

This top normally retails at £40 but it was on special offer on the day I ordered it. I love the floral design but it was the combination of navy blue and lime green that sold it to me. At first glance it looks like you're wearing two tops but it is actually just the one. It features a rose, print panel on the front and the back and the sleeves are in plain navy.

I talk more about the fabric content more in the video below but this super soft, slinky and stretchy, it is so, so comfortable and I love the tunic style length. Here I'm just wearing it with jeans and Converse but it's definitely something that you could dress up.  This top also comes in a black and a pink colour way and I have to say as tempted as I am to pick up that one up too, I think I'll wait and see if the price comes down x

The next two tops are from a QVC brand that I'm really loving at the moment, Wearable Art By Bob Mackie. I love his use of colours and prints x The first top that I got was this contrast sleeve, tile print tunic x

This was another one that was on special and although I originally wanted this top in the blue, it had sold out so I ended up getting it in the brown with the black sleeves. I love the Moroccan style print, that's featured on both the back and the front of the top and the browns, yellows and oranges are really autumnal and perfect for this season. I'm a huge fan of tan and brown accessories and I think that this will work really well with say a tan bag or brown boots.

The final QVC item that I got was another top from the Wearable Art By Bob Mackie range and this time, this one was from the clearance section. This 3/4 sleeve top, is all about the colour and the bright eye catching print

It features a stripe, and almost floral and leaf design in bright, but distressed neon shades of pale blue and green. All the designs and stripes are outlined in black which gives a real stand out look x I would have maybe have liked this to be a little bit longer but since it was less than £15 I can't really complain x

The only other clothing item in this haul came from H&M and it was a sale item, that again embraces my love for colour and print.

Although I remember wearing printed trousers when I was younger I was slow to embrace them this time round x I just didn't feel confident enough but all of a sudden the confidence just clicked and lately I've wanted all the patterned trousers that I could get my hands on. I've mainly been sticking to floral prints but these ones are a bit different - on an ivory, beige background these ones features a bright tropical leaf and flower design, scattered through with illustrations of leopards and tropical birds. These trousers aren't for the faint hearted and although I don't think I'll get any wear out of them this year, for £6 they will be a fab purchase for next summer.

Now accessories and first up something that you might have caught a sneaky peek of in my YSL -Style Is Eternal Vlog x

Although I didn't buy it at the time I thought that this sheep scarf was really cute, so I had a look on ebay and found an identical one at a slightly cheaper price. It comes in few shades and what you can't really see here is how big this actually is. This one was £4.49 from this seller x

I used to be very much a scarf person, and although I don't wear them anywhere near as often as I did I still love them and I can never resits adding a new print or pattern to my collection. As well as picking up a gorgeous blue and white floral one for Mummy Lou in the recent Next sale I also got this one for myself.

I can't really describe the print it looks almost like florals, plates or panels, but again I love the blues and the coral shades.

I think that this was about £5 or £6. I didn't buy a lot in the Next sale this time round just this scarf, some blue and white floral PJ's, some underwear and a few pieces of fashion jewellery including this necklace x

One of the fashion guests on QVC regular wear a similar necklace in either a silver or a gold tone and I loved it. This one isn't the same as either of hers but it's as close as I can find in style at the moment. I have a few mesh pieces from H&M  already and I think that this will work really nicely. I love the combination of both the gunmetal and the silver tone metals and I love the length.

The final item in this haul is another necklace from the Next sale and it's another long one. Unfortunately I've managed to delete the main picture from my camera but this necklace is from the brand Adorning Ava, and it's a long line, gold tone chain which features a diamond shaped filigree pendant with long lines of gold chain hanging from it. It definitely has an Asian feel to it and the super long length means that you could either wear it as a statement piece or even as a layering piece with some shorter chains.

So that was my small but very long winded clothing and accessories haul x I've made a little video to accompany this haul which you can see here x If you're on a mobile device don't worry you can find the video here x

Thanks for watching and reading, and if you have any questions please leave me a comment I love reading what you have to say x

Trimming My Stash - July 2015 Edition - Empties And Mini Reviews

Hey Guys x  I hope you all had a nice weekend, mine was quiet thankfully after a very hectic few weeks, sometimes you just need to kick back and chill. The working week resumes though and since it's the start of a new month it's time for my regular monthly empties post.

L'Occitane Cooling Hand Cream Gel With Organic Verbena Extract - 15ml
La Riche Directions Semi Permanent Conditioning Hair Colour - Pastel Pink - 88ml
SBC Cotton Mild And Moisturising Shower Gel - 250ml
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Illuminating Shampoo - 250ml
"OPI" Cuticle Revitalize Oil Pen - Rose
Imperial Leather Foamburst Luxurious Body Wash - Sweet Vanilla & Cherry Blossom - 200ml
May Beauty The Incredible Face Mask - 10ml
Soap & Glory Off Your Face 3 in 1 Daily Purifying Cloths - 25 Clothes
Molton Brown Skincare Creole Grass Anti-Ageing Hydra Creme - 50ml
Total - 9 Items

In July I finished 9 items and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with that. I finished a nice assortment of items including few things that had there or there about for a long time.

1. L'Occitane Cooling Hand Cream Gel With Organic Verbena Extract - 15ml

I've lost count of how many tubes of L'Occitane hand cream I've gone through over the years and they've never, ever, let me down. The thick, and creamy original is my favourite, but I love trying out the wide variety of different fragrances and textures that they have on offer. This is one of the lighter textures products in the range, it has a gorgeous fresh almost lemon fragrance, and a light almost cream, gel texture. It feels lovely and cooling on the skin and it absorbs really quickly. Although it isn't as moisturising as some of the hand products in the range, it's perfect for summer, and for touch screen users. This was a little mini tube but I would consider repurchasing this one for daily use in the warmer months.

2. La Riche Directions Semi Permanent Conditioning Hair Colour - Pastel Pink - 88ml

I've never seen you with pink hair I hear you cry? Well no you haven't but it wasn't for the want of trying - I'm currently growing out my blond streaks and since I had a tub of this left over from my mum's daring pink phase, I decided to cover my streaks in pastel pink dye. Did it work? well nor really, it barely took on even the most white blonde section of my hair :( Gutted :(

3. SBC Cotton Mild And Moisturising Shower Gel - 250ml

If you're a fan of Yankee Candles Clean Cotton, Soft Blanket or Fluffy Towels fragrances. Then you need this shower gel in your life. Designed specifically for sensitive skin, this creamy textured shower gel smells of pure freshness, clean sheets, and fresh air. It won't be to every ones taste and whilst I don't think that I would repurchase it's a nice product that leave you feeling fresh and clean.

4. John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Illuminating Shampoo - 250ml

This was a product that I was sent for review purposes many, many moons ago, and due to the sheer amount of shampoos in my bathroom I've just got down to finishing it. You can read my full review here but I actually really liked this. It wasn't the most moisturising shampoo that I've ever used but it definitely left the hair looking much shinier and healthier.

5."OPI" Cuticle Revitalize Oil Pen - Rose

This was an ebay purchase from a few years ago, and I'm going to be honest I don't think it's a genuine OPI product. I've never seen cuticle oils like this in any OPI collection so I think it just might be an ebay fake. That aside though this was actually pretty decent, the pen was ideal for travel, and the oil itself had a gentle rose fragrance, and it felt really hydrating on the skin. I've actually ordered another one in a lavender fragrance from this ebay seller for a pretty bargainous 99p including postage.

6. Imperial Leather Foamburst Luxurious Body Wash - Sweet Vanilla & Cherry Blossom - 200ml

This is something else that I was sent to review and another product that I love. You can read my full review here x but in my opinion these products make shower a much more luxurious and pampering experience.

7. May Beauty The Incredible Face Mask - 10ml

This was something else that I was sent for review and yet again it was something else that I loved You can read my full review here but I've already bought some more x Don't forget if you're interested in trying these masks you can get 30% off any face mask package using the link and code louloufacemask30 before the end of August.

8. Soap & Glory Off Your Face 3 in 1 Daily Purifying Cloths - 25 Clothes

Although I don't use face wipes on my face that often, I always like to have a packet on standby for emergency cleansing and for cleaning up swatches. These were a nice thick, good quality wipe with that traditional Soap & Glory fragrance. They were nice but for what I use face wipes for I can't justify the extra expenditure so I'll be sticking to my cheapy Primark wipes.

9. Molton Brown Skincare Creole Grass Anti-Ageing Hydra Creme - 50ml

My final empty from July is something else that I was sent for review. This was a nice, although pricey moisturiser, that was intended for dry skin. It had quite a matte finish though so it worked pretty well on my oily / combination skin. Mummy Lou also liked this one on her drier, mature skin. Unfortunately Molton Brown appear to have discontinued their skincare line but you can read a full review here

As I say I'm quite pleased with this lot mainly because I've managed to use up a lot of lingering and older products. With any luck, you can expect to see a few more in the weeks and months to come as I plough my way through a mountain of half finished products and things that I've rediscovered because of the bathroom renovations - every cloud as they say x I love reading empties post so if you've written one lately leave me a link below, so I can have a read x
