Morning loves - I thought I'd start the week with a nails of the day post :) In the past week or so I have acquired two Ciaté Paint Pot nail varnishes, one from July Glossybox, and one free with Marie Claire. I have a few Ciaté polishes mainly from ASOS but I have to say it's not a brand I've took a great deal of notice of, but I had a play with my two polishes, and I thought I'd show you the results.
First of all the polish which came with my July Glossybox, a gorgeous red with a touch of gold shimmer 036 Kitten Heels
I know, I know, you don't like feet well some people like feet a bit too much ;) but this polish just screamed summer toes to me so in a bid to counteract the rain that's where I put it. Especially when the weather is awful like it is again today, it cheers you up to see a pretty colour on you toes, even if they do resemble little sausages like mine do x
Traditionally I was very much a brights on my toes and neutrals on my fingers girl, times change and I've changed but sometimes it's good to look back so I painted my finger nails with the Marie Claire freebie Ciaté
My Fair Lady. Not the most interesting of colours I grant you but we all need a proper mannequin hands french type nude in our collection
This is just one coat and I have to say it's more than enough (I put two coats on my toes). I don't often wear these pale shades on my nails anymore but I like the simple look it gives so I'm definitely going to revisit the neutrals and french tones in my collection. I haven't shown the Ciaté polishes in my collection much love in fact I would probably say I only purchased the ones I have due to the cute little bows on the front (I had a bit of a bow fetish at one stage ;) but after trying out these two polishes I am definitely going to dig them out. Do you have any Ciaté polishes? what do you think and do you have any recommendations? Oh and don't forget to check out my blog sale page I added a few items yesterday :)

Collective Hauling :)
Hey my loves time for a haul post that I did pay for myself. As well as the Stacey maxi dress I have bought a few bits myself over the last few weeks whilst at the same time trying to be strong and stick to my limit. The throat come chest infection has meant a period of being stuck in the house so unsurprisingly some of the purchases have been online.
First up a nail polish and a beautiful one at that, I typed holographic nail polish into the search field on eBay and up came this beauty, Color Club 859 Fashion Addict
You can't really see the holo or the glitter too much but it looked amazing in the sellers pics on the nails and I can't wait to try it on mine :)
Another ebay purchase in the last few weeks was this - not one of the most interesting purchases I've ever mind but something that is a bit of an essential if your going on holiday- after sun!
My mum has taken care of the SPF so I thought I'd treat us to a new after sun, this one the Ultrasun After Sun really applied because not only is it an after sun it's also a tan accelerator, better still I got it for well below retail on ebay :)
It's generally accepted that blogs are great enablers, we read a post and find ourselves adding a load of items to our wishlist, well that happened again last week, when the lovely Fee from Make Up Savvy did a post on discontinued products. She had managed to purchased something I wanted quite a while ago - the NYC Chroma Face Glow in Moonstone
I wanted this for the longest time, like the famous NYC Blush Sticks it was never released in the UK and the ebay prices at the time of release were just ridiculous, but I checked on Amazon and found that the Amazon store is the same as a discount cosmetics website I had used before The Cosmetics House. Admittedly they are also in Co Durham but I got my parcel in less than 18 hours - impressive. These remind me a lot of MAC MSF's, it looks a bit like a paler Petticoat in the pan, but its a lot paler and a gorgeous sheeny pink -gorgeous

Finally today I managed a little look out, my mum wanted to go to Lidl so we popped to Consett, and you know that that means Superdrug! I originally went to get some more MUA things for the post I'm finalising but to be honest the MUA stand looked like a bomb had it hit it, nothing left and what was left had been opened, so I had a look at the 2True stand instead, to say it was better would be a major over statement, not one eyeshadow on the entire stand hadn't be opened or wasn't broken, horrendous! Thankfully the rest of the items looked OK, so I picked up 3 items for just £4.99 to go towards my Budget Beauty Series. First up a mascara the Instant Waterproof Mascara in 1 Black
Having previously tried and really liked a 2True mascara before I thought it would be good to try out another one for my post on 2True, I have to say I didn't really need another mascara especially since I received the Daniel Sandler Jumbo Jet Mascara in this months GlossyBox :) but mascara really seems to be one of my weaknesses
I also picked up one the Crystal Lipglosses in 1 - a lovely shimmery pink, I mean I really needed another lipgloss didn't I ;)
and I also picked up one of the Fast Dry Colour Quick Nail Polishes in Shade 2
I have already tried the other nail polishes that 2True do but I hadn't tried these ones, and I have to say I love the pale blue colour, and yes that it is another nail polish that you can see, one of the new Maybelline MNY polishes - I can't find a shade name but I think it's number 659, a gorgeous blue, but what's with all these companies giving their products numbers rather than names, it doesn't half make a bloggers life harder.
Finally from Superdrug I got these cute purple metal, rose earrings, for just 99p, I couldn't get a pic on the card so you've got an ear shot x
.
Finally I popped into Boyes and bought a few things including some undies, no I'm not going to show you those, what sort of blog do you think this is lol but I did buy the L'Oreal Elvive Re-Nutrition Nourishing Cream Shampoo, I'm running low on my Clynol and shock of horrors I can't find any shampoo in the bathroom cupboard - this is really unusual for us my mum thinks she has some Ojon shampoo "somewhere" so I thought I'd buy a cheaper shampoo just in case. I have to say I actually really like the L'Oreal Elvive range especially the ones with Royal Jelly in they smell nice and they are really moisturising.
So there you go a few successful purchases and I've just sneaked over my monthly limit still I'm happy to be just about back on my feet now the antibiotics are a total pain but at least I'm starting to feel better x Thanks for all the sweet messages you guys are the best xx

Shiny Hair With Clynol
I don't know if you've heard the story about the tortoise and the hare, but if you know me well you'll know that I am very much the tortoise in the tale, I take my time and do things slowly but I get there in the end -nowhere is this more evident than with this review. I was kindly sent a shampoo and conditioner from top salon brand Clynol way back at the end of April - whoops
The products I was sent came from the Look At Me Colour and Shine range, which has been designed to produce super shiny and volumised hair. The line originally just contained styling products including shine sprays, hair sprays and smoothing serums, but earlier this year they introduced the key products in any haircare range - a shampoo and a conditioner.
Clynol Look At Me Dazzle Colour & Shine Shampoo 250ml
The first thing you notice about this line is the chunky feel, hot pink packaging which gives the line a really fresh and funky image. The shampoo itself promises to take care of coloured hair, whilst at the same time giving the hair a super shine.
The shampoo itself has a milky, slightly runny appearance, and a lovely fresh floral /fruity smell that reminds me of something but typically I can't think what it is
Containing SLS as you would imagine it foams up pretty well both on the hands and on the hair
The shampoo distributes easily throughout the hair, and rinses out pretty easily too. The hair is left pretty soft with no build up. It's hard to say on its own whether or not the shampoo makes the hair any shinier as I tend to use the next product too so I asked Mummy Lou for her opinion, like me she has coloured hair but she isn't a fan of using hair conditioner. She really rated this shampoo she liked the light texture, and the fact it was easy to rinse out, and yes she believed that it made her grey / blonde highlighted hair much shinier and softer - result :)
Clynol Look At Me Gleam Colour and Shine Conditioner 150ml
As well as the shampoo I was also sent the matching conditioner, which again promises to protect colour whilst making the hair super shiny and healthy. The conditioner comes in a slightly shorter squat bottle also in the fabulous hot pink.
It has lovely creamy texture and the same fruity / floral type smell.
Despite the creamy texture its easy to work it through the washed, towel dried hair. I did find you had to be a bit careful with rinsing this out, a few times I didn't manage to get it all out and I experienced a bit of build up at the roots. This isn't necessarily the fault of the conditioner I'd either put too much on or quite simply my roots didn't need it. My hairdresser advised it was probably the latter, my roots are quite oily and my end are super dry, so for the last month I've just been using this conditioner on the ends of my hair, and I have to say I've noticed a difference, my ends especially are less tangles, and they look much smoother and shinier - another thumbs up from me :). Oh and I almost forgot you can also use this product, and a leave in conditioner too, I haven't tried it myself but for an intensive treatment massage well into towel dried hair and dry as normal x
All in all these two products seem to have done the trick for me in fact I can't really think of any negatives, bar the SLS as I know some people can't tolerate it. These two products have done pretty much what they promised for both me and Mummy Lou and you can't say fairer than that. Clynol Look At Me Dazzle Colour and Shine Shampoo has an RRP of £8.95 and the Clynol Look At Me Gleam Colour and Shine Conditioner
has an RRP of £9.95. I have actually spotted these products quite a bit cheaper than that in my local TK Maxx and on Hair Supermarket so if your interested definitely shop around. For more information and stockist details check out the Clynol website

Nails Of The Day - A Little Bit Of Luxury?
I have to say I'm all for a bit of pampering especially when I'm not feeling so great and one of the quickest and easiest way to lift my spirits is to paint my nails, so I braved the fumes aggravating my cough and tried this little one
Yes it's another Essie mini, this time the fabulously named Lapis of Luxury, I have to say it's not really what I would imagine a shade named Lapis to be, a Lapis stone is normally a beautiful dark blue, this on the other hand is more of a cornflower blue.
It took two coats to achieve full coverage with this one, which I guess is expected with a cream polish. I have to say though the colour is another winner from Essie, what do you think is it a fan or a fail?

Cough Cough Splutter
Hi Guys
I'm still feeling pretty crocked so I went to the doctors again this afternoon and he's finally given me some antibiotics boo- I don't think I've had these before and to be honest I'm dreading taking them. Yes they'll hopefully clear my cough and my chest infection, but the instructions are awful 4 tablets a day for the next week but I can't have any milk products either 2 hours before or until 2 hours after taking them - I'm not going to be able to have a cup of tea, yogurt, cereal, cheese or chocolate for over a week - there aren't enough hours in the day - I guess it will be good for my diet ;)
Anyways I'm feeling a little better now so I have a few posts ready to go up this week including surprise, surprise a nails of the day post, a shampoo and conditioner review, and maybe a little haul.
Thanks again to everyone who purchased from my blog sale - your goodies should be on their way to you shortly - there are still a few items so please check it out here
I hope you had a nice weekend I didn't but it can only get better ;) see you soon xx

Holiday Clothes Haul Mostly Courtesy Of Mummy Lou
Hi Guys feeling a bit crappy still but the postman has been semi kind to me today (me and my mum are waiting for about 5 things!!) so I have a haul for you, but it's more of a gift haul, the lovely Mummy Lou has been kind enough to buy me a few things for my holidays. First up some maxi dresses from Boohoo - I've borrowed their pics to show them off properly :) First up one that I did actually pay for myself probably because it was only £10 :)- this is called the Stacey - I love turquoises and bright colours for my holidays, and I love the Butterfly print and the cool cotton fabric.
My mum then bought me another two maxi dresses including this one with a tropical floral print
I love the colours on this one, the coral and reds are so vibrant I am already planning what nail colours and make up will coordinate with it
If your interested this one is in the Kelly design and it's in the sale for only £15
She also got me this floral patterned dress which was the most expensive at £20, its called the Samantha and the floral pattern on the navy blue background reminds me a bit of a Cath Kidston print
As well as the dresses she also got me this mesh shrug, I don't know about you but I hate my upper arms, not quite chicken wings yet but I can see it happening, added to that sometimes you just want something to cover your arms on a evening, then this shrug the Fiona fit the bill
It's £12 at the moment and it will be great over maxis and even over a vest and jeans.
She also got me a few bits from Top Shop, I know I'm spoilt aren't I ;) Again I've used some of their pics - she got my four longline bandeau tops in blue, white, pink, and yellow
These are the same design as the vests I got here. I really love long bandeau tops and these fit the bill perfectly.
She also got me a few make up bits including this baked eyeshadow duo in Thunder which was just a £1 in the sale!!
These swatches are dry but you can imagine how good they would look wet, you get a gorgeous teal and a charcoal both with lots of silver sparkle
She also got me one of the new powder blushers, this is in Powdered and it's a gorgeous hot pink which is suprisingly wearable
I have to say I love my mum - have I said that on here before? I hope I have but just in case I'll say it again, not just because she's bought me some clothes, but because she's always there for me through thick and thin even making my a cup of tea at 1.30 this morning when I was coughing myself silly, I love you mam xx
Any questions please leave me a comment and I should be back tomorrow afternoon with my blog sale update x

Ebay and Blog Sale Latest
Just a quick post to remind you that I have a few ebays finishing today and tomorrow, including some ASOS and Top Shop clothes, Miu Miu and Lulu Guinness shoes and loads of other fashion and accessory bits - check out my listings here for a few bargains
Ebay is being a bit of an arse at the moment, and they've placed a limit on my account, apparently I'm selling too many named items hmm, basically its letting me list some items but not others, so this is where you lovely people come in. If ebay isn't going to let me list certains items and brands then I'm going to sell them on my bloggy blog instead so you can expect my blog sale page to be updated over the weeked, with a few clothing bits and some shoesies. I've also sorted out a few more make up bits to add to my blog sale too, all as part of operation summer holiday :) I'll let you know when the blog sale page is updated but in the meantime I'd really appreciate it if you'd have a peek at my ebay listings xx

Nails Of The Day Featuring Essie And A Hint Of Things To Come
I'm still feeling a bit rubbishy -damn you summer cold and I had an awful night unable to draw myself away from the awful scenes on tv but the show must go on as they say so I thought I'd do a little nails of the day post - I'm really enjoying doing these, trying out all my polishes and rediscovering forgotten gems. Today's colour is quite a summery shade which I bought last year as part of the Essie Resort Collection mini kit.
The colour in question is the beautiful Turquoise & Caicos - a beautiful minty / turquoise shade this is two coats :)
Pretty isn't it as you know I love colours like this and despite just been a mini this is a goodie :)
I've had a few requests in the past particularly after this make up collection video to see a nail polish collection video, but the more I thought about it the more I realised that a video just wasn't feasible, I don't want to show off but I want to show you colours, swatches and brands in more detail so I've decided to do potentially a rather large series on my blog showing you my nail polish collection by brand. This is a mammoth task I probably have more nail polish than I did when the video was filmed last year, so don't expect this series to be done in a week lol. I will be featuring posts on every brand of polish I own and that is a lot of brands. I am going to be a bit sneaky and include some of the brands in with my Budget Beauty Series, I have a lot of polishes by George, MUA, BeautyUK and more to show you. I have to say I am so excited about doing this series not only as a resource for your guys, but also for me so I can see exactly what colours I have at a glance. I hope your as excited about this series as I am and I hope you like Turquoise & Caicos - leave a comment and let me know xx

One Step Forward Two Steps Back
Hi Guys
Well it hasn't been a great few days has it - riots in London, torrential rain, and to make it worse on Saturday night I developed the worst sore throat ever, it's gotten worse and worse - summer colds suck -just when I start feeling better in one way I go downhill in another boo
Anyways enough of the misery I'm focusing on the happy things my blog :) I spent yesterday curled up under my quilt taking photos for my blog - This week I have a shampoo and conditioner review for you, a nails of the day post, and yes the first MUA posts in My Budget Beauty Series, I promise it will be up this week, I've just been waiting for the lovely people at MUA to respond to a few queries I had :)
Looking a bit further forward I have two exciting new series of posts planned including showing you my entire MAC collection and an exciting nail polish series which I'll tell you more about tomorrow.
It's taken a while but the blogging mojo is back with a vengeance, and I'm excited for it, some people imply my reviews are too thorough and I ramble too much but that's the way it is, thanks for being their again and a big hi to my new followers :) I think I'm going to head back to bed now with a cuppa and a few paracetamol zzzz
