Dior Ultra Shimmering All Over Face Powder - Amber Diamond - Swatches

I succumbed to the hype last month and bought this from Garden pharmacy and I have to say I like it. Yes that is what I said I like it I don't love it. In my opinion it's not original or special enough, I already have a couple of far cheaper products that produce a similar effect so on reflection it wasn't really a must have. Never the less I bought and I probably will use it so nothings lost really. A few people have requested some swatches of it so here you go

Garden Haul and A Benefit Freebie

If you follow me on twitter, you'll know that I was a bit annoyed with Mr. Postman this week. The usual issue despite being 2 people in the house they barely knocked on the door and the little red card was lying on the doormat :( I was pretty annoyed to be honest I had placed my order well before the end of May because it contained a present for my besties birthday - well I give Dawn a little IOU and got the parcel redelivered this weekend. I'd recently watched a lot of May favourites videos on You Tube and the one reoccurring product was the Dior All Over Face Powder in Amber Diamond - well I got suckered in and bought it - I have to say it is a lovely highlighter with 4 shades of gold and bronze but as to how original or different it is from things I already own I'm not a 100% sure, never mind


I also picked up a Clinique colour surge eyeshadow palette in 01 Brandied Bronze from the summer collection, again I probably have similar things but it has some lovely colours in them and they are really pigmented



Mr. Postman also brought my free Benefit Lipgloss that I won through the Flake promotion - the gloss I chose was Life On The A List - a lovely peachy nude that smells just like peaches - yummy

Blog and Forum Sale Goodies

I am loving the concept of blog and forum sales lately - new and lightly used beauty items for a bargain price. I've got a couple of bits over the last week or so so I thought I'd share my bargains :)


First of all I managed to get MAC Springtime Skipper eyeshadow from the Barbie range from the fabulous peachykeen cheeks - I really love this colour its like no other MAC green that I have - Thanks Vicky x


I also won Benefit 10 Powder from the lovely Lollipop26's latest blog sale - this has been on my wishlist for ages and I am so please to have got it - a fabulous highlighter and bronze and contour in one <3 -Thanks Laura x

I also managed to get a few brand new products from a recent chat forum sale - Essie nail varnish in Mademoiselle, Chanel nail varnish in Biarritz, and a Christian Dior Lip Beautyfier - Extra Shine Lip Plumper Gloss and a free Prestige Eyeshadow in MEC-08 Lapis-all for less than half the retail price - I love a bargain x
