Last week I used one of my Diet Coke codes for a little ASOS spree - I didn't buy too much but I like the things that I got - first up this top
It's a kind of ruffle vest top, which has a shiny finish - I'm sorry the pics aren't that great but the picture from ASOS doesn't really show the colour too well - they show it as more of a nude colour where as in real life it's more of a mink shade
Next up a nail polish Bourjois So Laque in 28 Rose Lounge
What's so special about this polish, well it was one of the polishes that Catherine Middleton wore on her wedding day - It's just a nice pretty French pink :) I intend to repliacte her manicure in full when Essie - Allure comes from ebay :)
Next up something which isn't glamourous but it's an essential for this time of year - a bit of firming cream :) Soap & Glory Sit Tight
I've purchased this one before and I really think it helps boost circulation to some of my shall we say less exposed areas ;) I promised you a review of this ages ago and I promise I will get round to doing it soon x
I also purchased something else but I will show you that in a review post which I've got coming in the next week or so x
So that was my haul I still have so many more things on my ASOS wishlist and quite a few Diet Coke codes left so you never know you may see some more ASOS hauls soon :) Any questions give me a yell

I've Done It :) Project 10 Pan Update and Conclusion
All those months ago when I started Project 10 Pan I never thought I would actually manage to finish it, but I have :)
On Thursday I finished my final two items, first up Bourjois Coup de Theatre 2 in 1 Mascara in 51 Noir Exceptionnel i.e Black 9ml :)
I have to apologise for being a bad beauty addict but this little thing has been open since at least November BadLouLou, way too long for a mascara I know. I have to say I really hated this at first it didn't do anything but as time went on and maybe the formula started to dry out I started to really like - the rubber / plastic wand separated the lashes and the formula really added length - I also liked using it on my lower lashes where you sometime get spotting with bigger wands.
I am not 100% sure I would repurchase this but it was certainly a decent mascara alas it was starting to dry out a bit which wasn't really surprising considering the amount of time I've been using it, so that was goodbye to item number 9.
It was between two products as to which would be my final item but my Lancome Juicy Tube is hanging on, it's a bit like The Magic Porridge Pot, it just seems to be going on and on ! So the final item was a foundation from the discontinued brand Models Prefer - The Models Prefer Hands Free Light Diffusing Foundation in Medium 59ml
I got this ages ago in a set I got from QVC - the foundation basically came in a squeezy tube with a sponge attached. It wasn't a bad foundation to be honest but it was a little bit dark for me so I only tended to use it in the summer or when I had been on holiday. As it was nearing the end of it's life though I cut the tube in half and mixed it with a lighter shade of foundation so I could use it up :)
So that's my 10 - the products I finished were:
10.Models Prefer Hands Free Light Diffusing Foundation - Medium 59ml
9. Bourjois Coupe de Theatre 2 in 1 Mascara - 51 Noir Exceptionnel - 9ml
8. Boots 17 Mirror Shine Lipstick -Nudist Peach
7. Laura Geller Invisible Oil Blotting Powder - 10.50g
6. Laura Geller Spackle Make Up Primer - 28g
5. L'Oreal Matte Morphose Souffle Foundation in 110 Ivory Rose - 20g
4. Collection 2000 Big Fake False Lash Mascara - Ultra Black 17 - 8ml
3. ELF Luscious Liquid Lipstick - Baby Lips - 1.5g
2. id Bare Minerals Foundation - Medium Beige 2g
1. Laura Geller Balance & Brighten - Regular - 9g
I finished a nice balance of products including powders, foundations, lip products and mascaras, my one real disappointment was that I didn't finish any eyeshadows :(
I've made a little video talking about Project 10 Pan, my experience and my conclusions which you can see here as well as pics of all my finished items
I found my Project 10 Pan experience an extremely valuable one, admittedly Christmas fell slap bang in the middle so I got a few items which I really wanted but on the whole it was easier than I thought. By looking at my make up collection I rediscovered lots of items that I'd forgotten about which was almost as good as buying new things. Sorting through my products has really made me realise not only how many similar products I own but also how many things I just don't use - my friends and relatives, ultimately Give and Make Up and you guys through my blog sales have or will be the benefactors of my often thoughtless spending. (I will be posting a blog sale update soon alas it won't be tomorrow but it should be sometime next week -I'll keep you posted on that and a couple of ebay listings that will be going up this weekend)
Looking at new launches and talked about products made me a little bit depressed at times but 9 times out of 10 I became able to either find a dupe in my collection or to see it for what it was hype. It's a funny thing isn't it for ages I bought something from pretty much every MAC collection but since Christmas I have skipped every collection, and what have I really missed out on probably not much. Now that I am free to buy again I have to admit I have placed a little online order but that isn't from MAC Surf Baby it was for some Wet N Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palettes from ebay :). Not only that but I went to the Metro Centre on Thursday after I had finished my last two items and I didn't buy any make up bar the Impulse / Barry M combos - the first thing my mum said was what did you buy from MAC, so she was surprised that I had stayed strong.
I'm not saying my love affair with make up is over, it certainly isn't I have my heart set on a few things from MAC Fashion Flower and maybe the new summer mineralized collections, and lots of budget things look worth a shot, but I think my purchases will become a bit more selective from now on. I mean seriously how many nude lipsticks does one person need? and why do I continue to buy bronzers when I very rarely wear them. From now on I am going to try and buy things that I either actually need or things that really are different from what I already have or even items that I know I really will wear, and I do not need anymore mascaras! I have so many lovely and expensive things in my collection that just haven't had enough love - I'm going to keep at the shopping my stash thing I think everyone should give it ago it surprising what products we actually have that are similar to new releases, and I am also going to be more selective in the things already have, if I don't use it and I'm not likely to it goes, no matter who pretty the product or the packaging.
I just want to say thank you for bearing with me during my Project 10 Pan experience, and a huge thank you to the twitter enablers you know who you are ;) Would I do it again, no question I would and I more than likely will - I think I'll have a few months off but I can definitely see myself doing it again x Any questions please ask xx

Garden Pharmacy, Lloyds and Boots - Collective Shopping
I'm sorry it's taken a little while to get this post up but I thought I'd try and lump as much together as I could :) First of all Garden Pharmacy - I am a big fan of this company even more so when I got an email telling me my reward points total which equalled a lovely discount - they have a really good rewards scheme where you earn points for everything you buy which you can use against future purchases :) So with my discount points I placed a little order including a couple of Estee Lauder items first up Vanilla Truffle lipstick - I looked for this in the airport but I couldn't find it so I thought I'd get it- it is a lovely nude shade not to pale and not too dark
Next up another Estee Lauder purchase the Double Wear Stay In Place Shadow Creme in Ivory Lace - a gorgeous nude, champagne colour - this stuff lasts - countless hand washes and a bath later and you could still see the swatch :)
Because I'd ordered 2 Estee Lauder products I qualified for a free gift set which included a mini Perfectly Clear Fresh Balancing Toner, a mini Double Wear Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara, and a full size Automatic Pencil For Lips in 21 Fig
Swatch for the pencil :)
If you know me when I reveal the next item you'll be asking me why - traditionally not a fan of Chanel Nail Colours this one really appealed 493 Jade Rose
I've been wearing a lot of these nude. pinks lately and this one is so pretty I still think they are overpriced tho ;)
I also picked up some more Mavala nail items even though I am going to be trying something new, more on that to come, and the La Roche Posay Effaclar M moisturiser cream which I've heard so many good things about x
No, your eyes aren't deceiving you there is another moisturiser in the picture, in a little order from Lloyds Pharmacy I also picked up the Vichy Normaderm one that seems to be advertised in every magazine you pick up - again something to try and tame my evil pores.
The main thing in my Lloyds order was a perfume - I've gone a bit perfume daft lately and this was another one I looked for in the airport but alas they all seemed to be gone it's the Harajuku Lovers Sunshine Cuties in Love - The original Love is my favourite fragrance but this one seems to be a different maybe less sweet and a bit warmer, and the bottle is so cute
Next up Boots, I ordered something for my godmothers birthday pressie, and added a couple of bits for moi - first of all the Bourjois Bio Detox foundation - this purchase has worried me a bit now tho before it was released I had so much good stuff about it but since then I've head nothing but bad things - eek still I'll give it a go and form my own view x
Lastly I took advantage of last weeks Boots better than half price weekly offer and bought the FrontCover To Go Kit
I love the other shadow palettes by FrontCover that I have and I'm sure this one will be no exception the colours are gorgeous and really pigmented, but the big bonus for this kit is that you can take up to 4 colours out at once and put them in a specially designed compact
A brilliant idea I'm sure you'll agree the only problem is they are pretty tricky to pop out never mind the goods certainly outweigh the bads and this palette is a goodie if you would like any watches please let me know- it's still on sale in Boots although it's back to full price now :(
So that was it my haulage I've got a couple of bits still to come eek including some Nars (smack me now!), Accessorize, ebay and a little bit of ASOS then I'm seriously calming it down. Any questions or if you would like any reviews please let me know xx

A Little FOTD and NOTD
FOTD
Hey my loves just a quick post to show you today's face of the day - I have to say I am a bit bleurgh about putting this one up my facial palsy is really bad today, probably because I'm not feeling that great :( but my skin isn't too bad and I have a tan :) Like I said before I went away my FOTD's are going to be a work in progress whilst I play with my camera settings a bit, this one isn't too bad you can see colour and texture more than usual, but we'll see. You can't see the lips too well but it is one of the my lips but better colours anyways, but it's really highlighting the shimmer hmm x
Today I Wore
Laura Geller Balance and Brighten - Regular
Boots No 7 Trio Concealer - Darkest Shade Only :)
BYS 5 Stripe Bronzing Powder - 01 Golden Dore
Prestige Sun Baked Mineral Bronzing Powder - Pure Shimmer (to highlight, and on brow bone)
Anabelle Trio Eyeshadow - Amazon (colour as indicated all over lid)
MUA Eyeshadow - Shade 11 (in crease)
Bourjois Coupe de Theatre Mascara - 51 Noir Exceptionnel
Smashbox Lipgloss - Bombshell
NOTD
I thought I'd also show you another NOTD post too I changed my polish last night to another of the colours Lydia sent me a similar pink shade to the last one but this time it's matte and I have to say I like it, a nice pink that emphasises my tan and dries super quick, the matte look really seem to work with this. It's Sense Tech in 02 100% Mat by Deborah
Any questions or comments please let me know xx
