Thinking Slimmer - Slim Pod - Week 8 And A Special Offer

So I've maintained again but there's no frustration or despondency this week. I was a bit fed up last week but after a few emails from the Thinking Slimmer team, and some input from you guys and the ever loyal Mummy Lou I think I'm finally starting to see things differently. As I said in a previous post the brains behind the Slim Pod aren't great believers in the weekly weigh in, for me it's something I feel that I need to do but I decided to take their advice and try on some of the clothes in my wardrobe and see if they fitted or felt any different, and do you know what? they did.

The first item I dug out was something super weather appropriate a pair of shorts, just plain black cotton shorts last worn properly just under two years ago. I tried them on last summer but the waistband dug in, and they gave me a bit of a camel toe, so they were shoved to the back of the drawer. This time though they fitted perfectly, no digging in and thankfully no camel toe. I've worn them on and off in the garden all week and I've felt pretty good about it. They have a draw string waist that could still be tightened a bit further but my own progress is obvious.

The second thing that I dug out was a skirt, a bright mustard pleated, circle skirt (check out my instagram to see some pics). I'd worn this skirt once last year, after feeling the waist band digging in all day I decided it made me look fat and again it was shoved to the back of the wardrobe. This time though it fitted, it felt comfortable and I thought I looked pretty damn good, and thankfully a lot of you guys on instagram did too.

So I may not have lost any weight this week again but I'm feeling much more positive about my own body image and on what I've achieved so far. I ate really erratically last week because of the heat and I don't think that helped but I'm really feeling as though the worm has turned so to speak. I'm still listening to my Slimpod and I really think that it's starting to all fall in to place now, and hopefully I'll start to start losing again this week.

One of the key parts of losing weight and being healthy is exercise, alas due to my health concerns I can't do a lot of exercise but this week I'm going to start doing a bit of yoga on my Wii Fit, and maybe doing a few stretching exercises to try and firm my tummy up a bit. I'm limited as to what I can do but to quote my Slim Pod "every movement is exercise" I've cleared it with my physio who said it actually might help strengthen my muscles a bit so I'm ready to go. I know a lot of you are trying to do a bit more exercise at the moment but if your lacking in motivation like me, Thinking Slimmer might have the answer. As well as Slim Pods, Thinking Slimmer also produce a range of Fit Pods, which are basically motivational recording to get you motivated for exercise and fitness. You can use them completely independently of the Slim Pods, or alongside them for hopefully a better result. If you fancy trying a Fit Pod for yourself you can currently get the CD version of "Get Back In The Swing" for just £5 including postage compared to the normal price of £29.99 plus £2.99 postage. That's not all the cd also includes the Chillpod track which is worth £17.99 on it own, which has become a real part of my bedtime routine. Simply check out this link Get A Fitpod For A Fiver, choose the CD version and use the code SWINGSAVER before 25th July. Stocks are limited so move quick if your interested, I've already ordered mine and I can't wait for it to come. Thanks again for your support and good luck to the rest of you ladies and gents who are undertaking your own weight loss journeys xx
