Trimming My Stash - June Edition - Empties And Mini Reviews x

I know everybody seems to be saying this at the moment but it's so hard to believe that we're half way through 2013 already. Everything seems to drag when you're a child but when you're an adult whoomph blink and you've missed it.

Like every month in May I've been trying to trim my stash and use up some my health and beauty stash. I've managed to have a little sort out though and I've found out I have way more stuff then I originally thought eek, If I never bought any more shower products, body moisturisers, or skincare I'd easily have enough to last me through next year as well - a pretty scary realisation, I could sell some or give some away but to be honest it will get used eventually especially with Mummy Lou's habit of "borrowing" things so I'm holding fire. I've been pretty consistent with the number of items that I've finished each month so far, and May was no different.

Charles Worthington Take Aways Stay Smooth Perfectly Straight Straightening-Iron Protection Spray - 75ml
Vichy Normaderm Tri-Activ Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care- 50ml
The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter - 200ml
Ayuuri Natural Body Wash - Rose - 200ml
Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque - 30ml
Original Source Lemon And Tea Tree Shower - 250ml
Guy Kremer Add The Bounce Cleanser - 250ml
Montagne Jeunesse Deep Cleansing Passion Peel Off - 10ml
Primark Beauty Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes With Tea Tree - 25 Wipes
Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray - 300ml
Total - 10 Items

Every month so far I've finished either 10 or 11 items and this was a 10 month which takes me to 53 items so far this year! Again I managed no make up but I have a face powder there or there about so I'm pretty happy overall lots of hair care this month, and bit of skincare and a little bit of body care.

1. Charles Worthington Take Aways Stay Smooth Perfectly Straight Straightening Iron Protection Spray - 75ml

Probably the longest named product ever this was basically a heat protection spray. I found this a mass product stash, admittedly it was half full but I have been trying to tame my very unruly hair a lot this month. It smelled nice, it did the job. They don't seem to make this exact product again but I would definitely consider trying one of the other heat protection sprays in the Charles Worthington range.

2. Vichy Normaderm Tri-Activ Anti-Imperfection Hydrating Care -50ml

A moisture from Vichy's range for oily, and blemish prone skin. I have to be honest and say I wasn't keen it did as it promised and left the skin matte, and it made a great base for foundation but I found it quite thick and it didn't seem to absorb that well, it kind of sat on the skin like a primer and had a tendency to roll off - not for me I'm a afraid

3. The Body Shop Vitamin E Body Butter - 200ml

I am a huge fan of The Body Shop body butters and I've probably tried most of them over the year. If I remember I got this one as a freebie with a purchase. It has the same rose like scent as the rest of the products in the Vitamin E range. It was nice it moisturised but I'm not a huge fan of the smell so I probably wouldn't repurchase.

4. Ayuuri Natural Body Wash - Rose - 200ml

This came in a beauty box quite a while now so I can't remember which one, it was nice you could use it in the bath or shower and it had a pleasant rose based smell. The smell wasn't really me though so I probably wouldn't repurchase - it was nice though.

5. Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque - 30ml

I received some samples of some Macadamia products in my goodie bag from the North East FABB Event (see my post here), and this was one of them. I have to say I loved this I managed three applications out of this sachet and it left my hair feeling like silk. I've found another couple of sachets from goodness knows where in my stash which I will definitely use and when I've used up my mountain of conditioner and hair treatments I will definitely consider repurchasing.Oh and it smells gorgeous!

6. Original Source Lemon And Tea Tree Shower Gel - 250ml

Another product I love, I actually prefer this to The Body Shop Sweet Lemon range, it's zingy, refreshing and perfect for when the weathers a bit warmer or for when you need some get up and go. Definitely a repurchase although next time I might try out Superdrug's own version which is a bit cheaper.

7. Guy Kremer Add The Bounce Cleanser - 250ml

This was a product that I was sent for review purposes, you can read my review here but here's a clue - I really liked it :)

8. Montagne Jeunesse Deep Cleansing Passion Peel Off - 10ml

One of the famous face mask sachets - this was a peel off mask (scary pics can be found on my instagram feed) that smelled gorgeous and fruity and left my skin feeling super soft - very nice :)

9. Primark Beauty Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes With Tea Tree - 25 Wipes

I really don't know what else I can say about these apart from I always have a packet in the house - a £1 for 2 packs, great for emergency cleansing, cleaning your make up packaging and clearing swatches - a LouLou must have.

10. Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray - 300ml

This probably was my all time favourite heat protection spray and something that I finished at the start of the month. I love the smell,  how it works everything. I'm lead to believe the smell has changed since I last bought it though which disappoints me :( I will consider repurchasing this but I'm currently trying out the L'Oreal Elnett one which I'm loving just as much!

It goes without saying that I'll be continuing to trim my extensive stash in June, I'm also going to try and stop buying any more beauty bits that I don't need, which shouldn't be too hard ;) If you have any questions please leave me a comment xx
